Mildred has a degree in adult nursing with a valid UK NMC registration, holds a masters in public health and has 20 years experience working with adults. She has also worked with several charity organisations in Africa and the UK.
Strongly interested in disease prevention, healthy living and prevention of loneliness in old age. Mildred was motivated to help older people after observing from close hand the challenges her lone elderly mother faced in the village.
She believes that local communities can do more for their senior citizens if encouraged and it is possible to change people’s negative mentalities over old people. Mildred has always been inspired to make a difference in people’s lives and she believes she can do that through her charity work.
